Participation in a panel discussion on the risk of Europe’s transport infrastructure and adaptation options.
Researchers from SPARCCLE met with colleagues from the European Central Bank and the Network for Greening the Financial System to exchange knowledge on methodologies for climate stress test scenarios. ECB/NGFS is a key stakeholder for the SPARCCLE project, and the development of stress test scenarios in SPARCCLE aims to inform on both transition and physical climate risks for Europe, in line with best practices.
Approximately 15 SPARCCLE researchers attended the 16th Annual Meeting of the Integrated Assessment Modelling Consortium (IAMC) in Venice, Italy. The SPARCCLE project was presented to the Plenary, and several researchers shared ongoing work – also related to other projects – in the fields of climate impacts and integrated assessment modelling.
