The SPARCCLE project convened a joint session with sister projects CROSSEU and ACCREU, and in collaboration with CARMINE. In addition to the joint session, SPARCCLE researchers participated in a range of sessions across the EGU programme.
Participation in the Belgian Climate Conference to present the findings of Grant et al. (2025), published in Nature.
SPARCCLE researcher, Marina Andrijevic, was invited as an expert guest to an internal workshop with the Vienna City Office for Climate and City Office for Gender Equality. She presented on “Gender-differentiated climate impacts relevant for cities”.
The aim of the workshop was to foster synergies between UNIFI and CNR and to brainstorm future directions and research priorities concerning the interactions between climate, forests and socio-economic systems.
The WP4 co-lead discussed work carried out within SPARCCLE WP4, as well as its links to the stress-test scenarios developed under WP1.
